Wild and Madder Zipper Pouches

Can you ever have enough zip bags? We don’t think so. These ones are fabulously unique and have provided the Madder one with hours of happy sewing time. They are little works of art.
The little zipper pouches are hand-dyed, hand-designed, hand-sewn and rather lovely. 
The external fabrics used were dyed with botanical dyes ranging from indigo to dahlia. They have all been carefully washed to ensure colour fastness and then arranged into position for maximum aesthetic appeal.
The characters are inspired by our Christmas Card Kits designed by @Lettuce Celery and were hand embroidered using our own hand-dyed threads. 
We love how soft the pouches have turned out. They would be just perfect for keeping jewellery safe on travels.
The two patchwork pouches are lined with hand-dyed fabrics, but the embroidered pouches are lined with recycled brushed cotton for a little touch of extra softness. 
The other larger embroidered pouches shown were not hand-pieced but were hand-embroidered with our naturally dyed threads. They are big enough to hold Ipads or tablets and are rather charming with unique little faces peering out.
